FaceLock Enterprise Edition - Enhanced Web Access Security with Facial Recognition

FaceLock Enterprise Edition is a Chrome add-on that enhances security by implementing facial recognition for web access. When opening a website in Chrome, the add-on performs facial recognition to determine access permission, strengthening security. It also allows for the storage of web access logs and facial recognition execution logs.

The facial recognition feature applies an unalterable filter to the web page, and then automatically launches the FaceLock authentication tab. It compares the pre-registered facial data with the data captured by the webcam to determine if it's the same person. If a match is found, the FaceLock tab closes and the web page filter is removed. If no match is found, users can unlock by entering a passcode.

On the management side, administrators can control user web access and configure web pages for FaceLock authentication, permission, or denial. The web access log and facial recognition log features provide a dashboard that displays usage frequency analysis and authentication frequency analysis for specific web pages.

By using FaceLock in conjunction with Google services, such as Google Drive, the security of Google accounts and passwords stored in the browser is improved, preventing vulnerability in case of PC loss or password compromise.

Please note that the facial recognition is based on 2D comparison and utilizes the webcam on the PC, which does not measure depth or other dimensions.

For users of Google Workspace, centralized control and management by administrators is possible. Additional subscription may be required for users who wish to utilize centralized management in Google Workspace. For more information, please contact the developer.
